Harmonia Virtual Concert
Harmonia Virtual Concert
Edited and produced two virtual concerts for Fog City Harmonia—Quarantunes and Sequins on the Sofa—transforming remote vocal recordings, stock footage, and animations into joyful, seamless performances premiered via YouTube during the height of the pandemic.

Challenge
At a time when live music paused, Fog City Harmonia still had something to sing about—literally. With in-person concerts off the table, I was brought on to edit and deliver two virtual choral performances: Sequins on the Sofa (2020) and Quarantunes (2021). These weren’t just stitched-together Zoom calls (well… parts of them were) they were fully-produced video experiences designed to preserve performance magic, engage audiences remotely, and celebrate community in a time of distance.
Process
Objectives
Capture the magic of a night filled with music, movement, and memory-making
Promote the Symphony’s brand as culturally rich and community-centered
Drive event excitement and attendance through upbeat, share-worthy video content
The Project
California Symphony needed a high-energy promotional video for their annual fundraising event, Rhythms & Revelry. The goal? Build hype, boost attendance, and capture the spirit of the celebration—without a fresh round of footage.
So, I got scrappy and strategic. Using a blend of archival video from past events, existing marketing assets, stock footage, and some well-timed animated elements, I created a dynamic promo that felt like it was shot just for this moment.
Result
Hundreds of live viewers tuned in to each event, with engagement across social platforms and community newsletters.
Created a lasting digital archive for both shows that still lives online and showcases Fog City Harmonia’s resilience, artistry, and joy.
Received glowing feedback from viewers who described the productions as “surprisingly engaging and emotional,” “technically amazing,” and “the next best thing to being in the room.”
“CeCe made us feel like we were still performing together—even though we were all singing from our couches. She didn’t just edit a concert—she created a moment.” – Fog City Harmonia member
